1. Geesh! The porn warning got me scrambling to open the thread
but all I found inside was tasteful, artistic nudity.:)

Read about your injury. How are you doing?

Thank you for asking about me Jeff, I'm getting better, 5 weeks since the fall.
A humerus is a hard thing to break.

Can't do much, hence the multitudinous photos of squirrels out the "Rear
Window"
Struggling with low spirits and mush for brain because of the ditto head pain pills.

Trying to find balance and a sense of purpose, anticipating them knocking on my door soon, dressed for work and play.

If you hurry, you will still get your entry in.

edited to say:
I just now saw your entry. Impressive and has your stamp all over it. A wonderful example of positive and negative space and balance.
Wonderful contribution.

I had no idea you broke your humerus! I'm so sorry to read that! But you keep clicking and for that I we're all grateful, plus, it let's us all know even if you are a bit foggy, we don't need to worry too much about you then. You amaze...

Here's to hoping to put a bright spot in your day:

11. Thanks for the bouquet, and the understanding, so very much. Yes, I'm foggy,
and sort of down, but not out.
This is a very bright spot indeed.

Oh, I'm sorry you're down but I have faith in you! How bad was the break and how did you manage to fall? Go ahead, regale me with some wild adventure story if reality is too mundane!

I love your squirrel pictures! They remind me of a newborn I found and rescued in the woods at the base of a tree when I was kid and brought it home. It was so new we weren't even sure what it was. My mother gave it a swig of whiskey, put it in a yarn slipper on top of the radio (they got warm in those days), and nursed him to adulthood -- he was a gorgeous red squirrel. He was devoted to her for the rest of his life! We had him for about three years. He, Friday was his name, lived in a wonderful screened in porch and had a luxurious bed of cashmere sweaters to nestle in! Christmas trees found new life there too! When my mother made the beds in the morning she would tuck in the end of the sheet at the foot of the bed and toss it as you would shake a rug; Friday would run up it as fast as he could and slide down! They had great fun -- the rest of the family did not fare as well since squirrels tend to be one-man animals! I have he scars to prove it! He got along with the cats and the dog though!

Well, good night my friend. And keep positive thoughts going through your head! I'll be thinking of you and sending a few prayers your way (for what that's worth ;-D

My little Golden Girl, Kelsie (also a rescue) sends her best wishes:

6. I see that you have having
fun with your new neighbor! I'm loving your squirrel series! Please keep them coming.

And glad to hear that you are healing nicely, but the "foggy" brain can't be much fun.
