A couple "experiments"
Actually, my intention was to take a close-up of this flower, but accidentally hit the shutter before I had a chance to change the settings. And . . . I really liked the results of my "mistake." This first photo is totally untouched.



Same photo but with some "color manipulation."

1. It intrigued me to crop it differently - i hope you don't mind
The top lends itself as an example of our negative space theme so I played with it a minute in Picasa.
The colors in mine are too harsh I'm sorry that happened, but I think the crop warrants a second look because I think this one has possibilities. The pink and light blue are really hot.

2. Ohhhhhhh . . . . I definitely like the crop.
It's a "tighter" image now, although I do like the subtler colors of my image.

Thanks for a great idea!

3. I'll stifle myself now... this one's a vignette from your lovely photo
That negative space stuff is everywhere. In my crop there needs to be 2 more millimeters gone from the pink at the bottom for really good balance.
