Massive marsh fire on Buck Pond
Saw this on the 6 o'clock news and rushed out to get some photos...







Nature's fury and destruction are sometimes a very beautiful thing...

Have you tried cropping one of them down to the right-hand group, where the flames are the highest and the tree is brilliantly illuminated?

It might make an interesting picture.

No I have not had a chance to post-process anything yet.

I still have about 200 photos that I won't have time to sort through until later tonight.

Thanks for the idea, I'll try that out and see what I come up with...

4. This must have rocked you - what an experience. I hope not too much was
destroyed.
The photos are keepsakes. Especially that first one. In it I like the blue in the sky, indicating that the disaster turned the last of the day into night. The colors and the vastness of it are really amazing.
