1. The soulful look, the light on his face - what a capture.
I so like the crop, too, where the extra row of bricks on the bottom suggest height.
It's a masterpiece, Alfredo. I could see this one in a published b/w photo book.

2. Thanks. The perspective emphasizes isolation.
BTW, look at a gift from a dead aunt.

6. Really nice
I like the framing, the expression. One tiny little suggestion, get rid of the shade cord it breaks up that nice negative space.

17. Lovely photo.
My only comment would be about my pet peeve - overblown whites. Anyway to make them more gray? It would also be less of a distraction from the "I want to take that pet home" dog.

15. Beautiful emotive photo.
I love it. Oh and "A house is not a home without you," works both ways. Us humans miss our furry friends too.

I don't think it would have worked in color.

19. Thanks I applied the rule: does color advance the story?
Pathos works better in Black and White.

20. It's a good thing our beloved pets can't tell time.
I can imagine a dog sitting in front of a clock all day in utter disbelief that it can move so slowly.
I think you captured that mental image quite well.

22. I've often considered that.
I believe a dog or cat, who has no final recollection or concept of time, would think the world froze while they're waiting, but once you arrive they get exited and jump around thinking: "What's it been, 20 seconds.... three days? I don't know, I'm just glad you're safe, let's celebrate with something to eat!"
