Spring?

This is springtime in Alaska (photos taken yesterday)...why the spring contest is always the hardest for me. At least the ice is out and the snow is gone.

2. Does your spring come on really fast?

We'll be greening up quite a bit more by next week and by May 15, we should be fully leafed out.

3. The leaves come out fast, which they should do next week, but I'm always surprised at how late

everything comes after that -- lilacs bloom at the end of May, apple trees bloom at the beginning of June. It's not really summer until July. Then our summer is very short. I like it, though -- I droop in hot weather, and I get depressed with too many sunny days in a row.
