***Rules for Backlit Contest Are Now Officially Changed***

Please do NOT post any photos to this group that you may use for the contest. They will be disqualified. However, if you posted a photo of your entry here before I posted the poll, that is exempt from the rule.

Please do NOT consult with, or tell any other DU member what photo you are entering, and follow in the spirit of the competition by making this a "blind" contest. If you submit a photo to me by PM, I will take it that you have signed onto that honor code. While I am not making specific detailed rules on this, I am expecting all entrants to abide by the spirit of the competition.

Either very late Sunday night, or very early Sunday morning, I will announce when I will begin taking submissions by PM.

Name your photographs whatever you want, as long as it isn't something like "Here's another bird photo from Celebration."

I may add more rules later if I feel that I need them for this particular contest with the revised rules. Look for them as another original post. They will be highlighted by ***

Okay here is the only backlit photo I have taken since the last batch (other than sun through the trees, etc.). Obviously I need to look at my archives. Fun to try, anyway. Fun, remember?

But I think I will go with Sunday night sometime after 10PM central daylight time.

But I really like the feature of seeing the entries.......because at the end sometimes I want to just sort of round out the contest (rather than going for a win).

Posting the pic will be the confirmation that I have your entry. But I could confirm also.

But if I don't have time to post the pictures I will give updates on the number.

I'll think about all this more, though.
