1. Celebration: You need to be celebrated by all of us.
You ran a spectacular contest, anticipated the pitfalls in the novel way to do things, and in doing so impressed the heck out of me.

:greatjob:

2. I salute the Photography Group
for wanting to try something a little different. And it wasn't much trouble at all for me.

For the entries posted here, I just used everyone's URLS they sent me. It was very nicely pointed out in a PM to me that if people so chose, they could figure out the participants by going to the URL. I knew nobody here would do that, due to the honor code. But, for the entries in GD, it was possible for a voter to do that, so I put them all in my Photobucket account. It took very little time, though, to do that...........just a few minutes.

If any other hosts wants to conduct a blinded contest I would suggest that they do that from the get go, though I have to say, doing all thirty at the same time saved a ton of time, most likely. The host wouldn't necessarily have to post the photos here as they are presented, but I really wanted to do that.

Other than that I don't have any particular suggestions or issues for running a blinded contest, if people want to do that in the future.

I thought it was a good sign that Blue won...........for a Costa Rica photo
