1. Grand, indeed.
From the architecture itself down to the attention and craftsmanship in the details. I can -and do - get lost in each of your photos. Simply beautiful.

4. Thanks for your reply, soup!
I love beautiful architecture. Bordeaux has an amazing number of 17th and 18th century houses and public buildings.

5. It's always such a treat
to see photos like these. I love living in CA but it is so new in comparison to places like this.

6. Grand certainly is the
operative word here! You certainly have captured the theatre's magnificence.

7. I look at these and think of European history and achievement and am reminded
of a local teacher
I
KID
YOU
NOT
who once asked me in all sincerity if there ever were Indians in Germany the way we had them here in the US.

It's a struggle to chip away at my own abysmal ignorance of things, but doesn't that just about take the cake?

Your photos are magnificent. Thank you. I'm glad you are still bringing my new passion to me: Symmetry.

:)

8. That teacher's question was pretty jaw-dropping all right! ! !
:wow:

Did you see the way Sarah Palin was dressed when she recently went to India to give a speech?
Why she was invited I cannot fathom, but she showed up looking like this:

Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you like the photos. :hi:
