These are aggressive ill tempered critters. Little brown earth snakes are docile but timid and will evacuate the area ASAP unless slowed by temp.

Shot with on-camera flash--way too flat but it was all I had to work with. Not my best work but better than missing the opportunity. By the pound I tell ya', by the pound!

I'm not advocating anyone get outside their comfort zone, just giving advice on how-to.

BTW, don't handle them 'cause body temp warms them up faster than ambient air. I use chop sticks for reptiles and toothpicks for insects.

Like I said, how bad ya' want the pic?
