White Hair, Running Boy, Flowering Tree
Thursday I braved the heat to do a photo shoot using a 100mm lens. I had forgot to change from ISO 800 to my usual 400, but that only meant a bit more noise. It's a manual lens and no EVF, so I has some spoilage.

1. What diversity of wonderful images. The old man is
quite a study, with the hair - the beard - the cap and the glance he shoots you.
I adore the little boy. The smile we see yet don't see, and the wet skin. So great on a hot hot day.
The plant is beautiful and fascinates!

2. Thanks. It was interesting working with the 100. Made me wish
I had an EVF.

Next year.

3. How timely! I'm watching a documentary
on JRR Tolkien. They're talking about Gandalf at this moment, clicked on the your photos and the first basically looks like Gandalf in shades :)

4. Gandalf wouldn't have a Casio camera, he would have a Leica M9.

5. The man's portrait is very arresting.
Made me stop and take along look, wondering about who he is and what his life is about.

NICE shot of the hydranga. Looks cool and promising.

6. Thanks. He seemed like a good ole boy. The bark on the branches
caught my eye.
