Why are there so few of us in the gallery?
This is not a rhetorical question. I'm curious.

I guess I'm guilty too. I did post my pic in Nighttrain's and Cyndee Lou's picture threads the other day. I was so proud that I was able to figure out how to do it.

I haven't before because I only just got a digitized pic of myself a few weeks ago. I could submit it to Skinner. I just haven't thought about it.

Now everybody else do the same. Hey, I guess I could do that too. Mine needs cropping sumpin' feirce though. Maybe later.

And since we are loners ... no shame in using the Slinkerwink technique of taking your picture in the mirror. That's how I did it.

...I'm so bloody camera shy.

3. I have very few pictures of myself.
I am camera phobic. I avoid them at all costs. The only pics of me are those my mother takes; mom will not be denied. Or someone "sneaks" a shot when I'm not looking.

I have one in the gallery; it's 2 or 3 years old; the most recent I can find. My mom took it, of course.

11. You have to upload the pic to a Web hosting site
like http://www.imageshack.com/.

After that, you can use the web address of the pic in your message and it automatically shows up in your post. :-)

7. Just find me in the gallery;
my pic isn't nearly as clear as yours, even without the mirror. My mom caught me standing on a river bank; not a closeup, but pretty typical of where you'd find me and what I'd be up to. ;-)

15. They moved the gallery to "demopedia,"
which is down for some work; until they put it back up, no gallery.

Not that it would make a difference for me; except for my driver's license, I haven't had my picture taken since my senior portrait in high school five years ago.
