... "The Graphic Imperative," a handsome show of 121 of the best political and socially engaged posters of the past 40 years, documents that impulse. There are some familiar images in the exhibition, which was organized by the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. But the show, which will tour through 2009, is refreshing for the many posters that you might not have seen before.
