Sketches that I don't know what to do with.
Should I finish them, color them, or just make origami out of them? Open to all ideas. :)

I'll Be Here All Week, Try The Eel

This one is done, but I'm still open to the origami idea. For the record, I have no idea why I drew a lizard that night. I usually have a reason for what I draw. This is odd for me as it's almost normal subject matter. There's friggin' flowers in it ffs! I must have been medicated. :)

1. Try to develop them a bit more --
especially the first one, which I _love_.

4. I have a hard time coming back to pic after I put it down.
My friend makes music and he says he has the exact same problem. He has about 500 music files that would be really cool if he ever finished them, but like me once the vibe is gone it's gone.

That one was fun to draw. With the checked coat, striped tie and polka dot shirt the guy is 100% fashion! :)

2. Hey, Forkboy.
Even without finishing them, they're still pretty striking. If anything, just a touch more contrast would give the first 3 more punch. The 2nd one, my favorite, is just about perfect. If you left it alone, to me, it still works. As light as it is, I still feel the slitheryness of that eel, pretty good use of light to create volume. The first one to me really begs for more contrast, but it's got so much working for it that I wouldn't want to mess with it too much.

5. Thanks for the feedback.
I just scanned them in untouched to hopefully see them differently. Adding some contrast wouldn't be hard at all.

That second pic has gotten good responses from my friends, too. Must be something there that grabs people, so maybe I'll leave it alone. I've been tempted to add some kind of mechanical looking background, but maybe less is more.

The eel is my fave of the bunch, and I have a couple ideas for that one, including maybe adding a 3D Bryce ocean for him to be jumping out of. Colorizing the eel right would be the hardest part.

Thanks again!

6. Ooo, looks better darker.
I'm going to take the contrast advice above and see what I can do with a couple of them. I may just take the version you posted here and keep it as is. :)
