This is the time for heating questions, anyone have a Hydro-sil
electric heater? We have used ours for the past three years as a heater for a room that is not connected to our furnace system. Of course, now that it is cold, we need to turn it on to a low setting so that it will be reasonable comfortable as we watch TV.

For some reason, it is not going on. Nothing has happened. No damage that we can see. It is a dial setting and when we turn it way up, it will warm a little but will not work on the low settings. I will try to call the factory but in the meantime, did this happen to anyone here? It is a wall mounted, hard wired baseboard.

I guess we'll be a little cold tonight but this thing is supposed to last a long time. If it has died, I need to find something else in a hurry.

Thanks

1. I would not plug that thing in again
It is obvious that there is a fault in it and, for all you know, there may be a shock or fire hazard.

Does a small electric blanket sound like something you would want? It would be "more efficient".
