Here's a good example of being "too cute" with a web design.

The irony here is that this place designs interfaces!

But the fact is that they've obviously fallen in love with Flash a little too much. The DESIGN of the website is wonderful, but it quickly becomes annoying as hell..

3. That's possibly the most annoying thing I've ever seen on the internet
Ok, well, maybe not (there's a lot of competition for that title after all). But damn - I clicked the "read about our vision" and then got nauseous chasing the damn thing around the page trying to read it. Guess that "read" part was only metaphorical.

4. Oh my...
I am a tad nauseous now.

Hey, I am new to this forum. I started creating sites for self-employed friends, but I am not now branching out to friends of friends.

Glad I found you guys! :hi:

5. "Flashturbation"
There needs to be a link to a static menu.

6. Reminds me of some of the stuff my high school students would create on their own
It's new & nifty! I can do LOTS of things with ALL THIS ACTION STUFF! Wheee, what fun!

Is this a game of catch, or intended to be a real informational web site?

Obviously no realistic planning went into this site, nor any after launch testing!:eyes:

7. I don't visit this forum often.
Probably should. This is the kind of crap that gives Flash a bad name. Those of you who don't work in Flash would be surprised at what large corporations think they want and actually ask for. You really gotta talk em down.

Thanks for giving me another example to show my students of what NOT to do. I teach Flash and require my students include static navigation, no matter what, to accommodate those of us not up to chasing the elusive.

for Web Pages that suck in my opinion.
