I hope I'm not breaking the rules by "calling someone out" here; I was just wondering how the Bar went for you, Ma'at?

1. Thanks, Wildflower.
I just saw this.

The test went very well. I finished all of the questions; but I won't know if I passed until the end of May (2005).

I felt the positive energy flowing my way.

I took it with the laptop.

But I feel I have to prepare my friends and family (of which you are a part) that I may have to take it again in July.

I feel a great deal of it is 'political,' in the sense that they can control how many are admitted to practice through the difficulty of the test and the grading scale.

But maybe this time was my lucky time.

I'm studying just in case I have to take it in July.

I took it only about 45 minutes from my home; it was easy for my husband and daughter to visit me. That make it easier on the 8-year-old.

Thanks for asking. Take care!

Until I pass, I'm an official slacker (not a homemaker or retired social worker ... since I believe such an individual would be doing something productive). Other than goofing around ... I mean studying ... yes, that's what I'm doing.

My hubby of some 20+ years is a very tolerant individual, who works out of the house.

3. Thanks.
Hey, Elshiva. I posted a goofy thread in the Lounge just chatting (off the top of my head about individuals I'm sure glad my daughter didn't marry, like O.J. and Blake. I added that I didn't think Schiavo was such a great spouse either, basically.

I was sort of goofing around. I won't do that again!

Oh,well. My opinions are ... well just my opinions!

By the way, I went to my first 'Religious Science 101' class last night. It was fun. Pastor Patricia basically stated that we have no creed or hard/fast beliefs that one must adhere to ... except 'have fun for God.' That was great! That's part of the thinking that God is within us all, and yet not absorbed by any one entity, and that we are here to experience for Spirit (I like that thought).

Right back at ya.'

It turns out Emerson was a big inspiration for the founder of our faith, Ernest Holmes, who initially organized educational meetings, never intending for a "church" to be formed.

My pastor prefers to call CRS "a teaching."

She feels "religion" can have a negative connotation.

As you and I know, the term can be defined in more traditional words, or it can be Definition #2, simply referring to a "belief system."

I refer to it as my faith, or my religion, or my belief system, mostly because of what I want to communicate to the listener.

For example, to my religious-right relatives, CRS is my religion, which is every bit as legitimate as theirs.

Since we are each (both you and I) creating our own spirituality, which is encouraged in CRS, we have created our own belief system, which is continually developing.

6. Maat.
I've come to the view that either you have some experience of God or want to or you don't and just don't believe.
I've just had some experiences in my life that I believe were DEFINITELY GOD.

7. I agree with that!
When I survived a car crash that should have killed me - walked away without a scratch - I definitely felt Spirit's presence then!

10. Thanks.
I'm good. I'm having a good time getting involved in my pet issues and Democracy for America, and I'm studying more just in case. Things are good. Happy Easter!
