I just finished Joseph Chilton Pearce's The Biology of Transcendence and found it far more fascinating than I feared based on the title. <Required course reading> I wish it were required reading for anyone seeking public office. If you get a chance to pick this one up, get it! A bit of dry biology sprinkled in, but ultimately mind-blowing.
I'm always on the lookout for "paradigm shifting" books. What have you read recently that really moved you?
2. Biology of Transcendence sounds interesting, actually.
One of the most influential books I've read recently is Leadership and the New Science: Discovering Order in a Chaotic World by Margaret Wheatley. It's kind of a guide to sailing the quantum waves of chaos theory. Or maybe it's about interpersonal relationships. I know it's definitely about fractals.
Maybe you just have to read it to get it. But very worth reading.
Five Thumbs Up.
