What's going on with Rhapsody?

I've been a longtime subscriber of the Rhapsody music service.

Currently, their support page has a mysterious message that they afre having a problem and many of their streams are only 30-second samples.

Okay, that explains why so many albums and artists are now coming up "For Sale Only" today. Hopefully it's a technical glitch.

But it underscores what seems to be a larger trend on Rhapsody, as more and more artists seem to be gettiung blocked from streaming listening and becoming "For Sale Only." It used to be only a few, but now, it's like anyone you have ever heard of is no longer available on it.

Has anyone else noticed this? Anyone know if this is a real trend? Does it have anythiong to do with their addition of an mp3 store" -- like shifting their business model?

And, beyond that, anyone know of a service that is better than Rhapsody?

I don't mind paying a fee for a good subscription service. But I'm not going to pay for a subscription service that blocks most of what I want to hear in an effort to make me buy music from them....If I want that, I'll just save my subscription money and use it to buy directly.
