going to see Leon Redbone live!
4/24 in Poway, CA.

I've loved LR since I first heard his music in 1983. This will be my first time seeing him in concert.

Can't wait.

I saw LR in San Diego in the late 1970s. He was billed with Tom Waits!

LR the first half; TW the second half.

What a concert!

edited for typo...

3. Wow, what happened?

I had a photo posted of TW right next to LR, but now it's not coming up?

Here's the same photo from another source...

I notice you live in San Diego! I lived there from 1972 to 1979. From 1976-1979, I lived in the Kensington area, on Adams Ave., just down from the Ken Theater. Went to the movies constantly! Also lived in El Cajon and La Mesa, as well.

Saw the LR/TW concert in a (movie) theater in Mission Beach.

Man, how I miss San Diego and southern California! So many pleasant memories!

Now, I'm sad...

on edit: Now the TW photo is appearing in my previous post! First, its there, then it isn't, now it is! That TM...always up to something!

4. that's near where I live
I'm in North Park. We go to Adams Ave. all the time, hit the used book stores.

Don't be sad. It's ridiculously expensive to live here. I wonder sometimes if it's worth it.
