Matisyahu - Hasidic Reggae
This is the stuff, man. This cat rocks. caught his video for "King without a Crown" and was mesmerized. this guy is full-on hasidic, right, beard, clothes, hat, totally, and here he is, doing it reggae-styley, jumping up and down, crowd surfing, toasting like a master. Doesn't hurt the music style is exactly what i like best about reggae, just a stripped down band.

too, then in July at the Jewish Mother in Virginia Beach. Smooth reggae and amazing vocal theatrics. check out his live shows on www.archive.org
over 60 shows last time I looked.
