Eritrea and Ethiopia have long musical traditions. Take a look at
this dance. Note also the instrument being played. It is an electric lyre(Krar). This one shows the coffee ceremony. The yellow liquid is Tej or as we call it, honey wine. Let's see you dance with a bottle on top your head.

This video is of a man playing the Krar, the more traditional version of the above electric lyre. He's probably singing in Tigrania.

this video shows a dance. A one string fiddle(masenqo- the name changes by region), drum, and horns being played.

This video is shaky and hard to watch, but bear in mind you are seeing and hearing dance and music that could go back to the days of the Pharaohs The war of Liberation was ongoing so gathering in public was risking death from Ethiopian Migs.
