Pics from my Massachusetts day out

I spent the day after Thanksgiving doing some birding around NE Massachusetts, mainly at Parker River NWR, but I had to stop and see this Ash-Throated Flycatcher, which was 15 miles away from where I was staying:

He was sort of a show-off, once he actually showed up:

I then headed out to Parker River, where I saw a nice flock of 90 Sanderlings and one Dunlin:

and some Common Redpolls for my year list!

I absolutely love Parker River NWR. It's a great place to bird. I also had some Red-throated Loons, all three scoters, Common Eider, and Red-breasted Merganser, along with some Snow Buntings.
