Hawk outside my kitchen window this afternoon

I went to get my cup of tea from the counter near the sink, looked out the window and saw a hawk sitting on a pole that used to have a birdhouse on it. He stayed long enough for me to get my camera, get several shots from the kitchen and a fewm ore from the next room. Red-tails and red-shoulders are most common around here but I think this may be a Cooper's.

3. I don't think it's a Cooper's.
It looks like a juvenile buteo of some sort, either Red-tailed or Red-shouldered hawk. Not sure which-but the pattern on the back makes me lean red-tailed. Not really sure though, the tear-dropped shaped spots on the chest are throwing me off a bit, but I'm pretty sure it's not an accipter. There aren't any bold bars on the tail.

Here's a juvenile Cooper's for comparison:
