Thursday 9/1: I worked out today, did you?
Wow, MissMillie didn't start this thread today ;-)

Next week it's back to the kettlebells for 3 weeks straight. Today I did military presses, followed by a few rounds of split jerks (up to 155 lbs, feeling pretty good). I finished with alternating sets of dips w/ preacher curls, did ab work, called it a day.

1. Did a little bit of everything on upper body
I haven't been in the gym in a week or two because of moving and stuff related to it. Just trying to get back to it not to shock the system too bad. Focused mostly on back exercised and abs. Did a few sets of chest, and bis. Tomorrow is leg day and it will be rather hard. I don't predict I'll be able to walk this weekend after 5 sets of squats.

2. MissMille was a bad girl today
She didn't set her alarm last night and she slept through her workout! Shame, shame, shame on me!

I have an appointment this evening, and won't be able to fit a workout in after work, so I guess I took the day off. I'll make up for it over the weekend (when I usually don't work out).

4. sliced and diced DVDs
I did the cardio sections of Cardio & Weights, then the short 10-minute cardio portion of Step & Intervals, followed by the upper body add-in of Basic Step + Body Fusion, and lastly the abs part of Cardio & Weights.

Sounds like a lot but it clocked in at only an hour. :-)

9. I've been doing 4 days/week
I have two, the 16 kg & the 24 kg. I've been alternating moderately difficult workouts with the 16 kg & a jumprope with harder ones using a workout from the latest Vitalics catalog. 3 weeks of that plus a week of weightlifting knocked 5 lbs. off of me, I'm hoping to repeat that starting monday! The 24 kg is waiting in the wings for my endurance to get high enough to handle it well. I've been trying to just get a good workout, not beat myself up with the 24 kg :D

My workout was about 1 hour and 40 minutes. And that's the way uh huh, uh huh I like it.

I've lost 17 pounds and I've been eating well and working out.
