Monday, 12/19: I worked out today. Did you?
After a long hiatus, I went for a morning swim today. I was relieved my body did not utterly revolt. I hope some of you others have good workouts. I don't feel like I'm the best one to start the thread, but it is noon on the coast so here I go. :hi:

3. I finally worked out today
realized I'm not fitting in my pants anymore.

Starting a cut during the holidays to curb my holiday binge eating.

Today:
Bench press flat bb and incline db
BB curls
Pulldowns
DB shoulder flyes

Treadmill for 20 minutes

Trying to get used to the lowered calories.

6. Went to hot yoga.
Hope to go five times this week.

Someday, someday, I will get through a class without feeling dizzy or like I'm going to puke. :D

8. What is hot yoga?
Is everyone required to be a Hollywood clone? Do you bring your own electric blanket? Is it for those of us going through... Power Surges?

9. LOL!
It's yoga done in a heated and humidified room. The theory is that since the entire room is so warm, you'll be more flexible and it'll be easier to do the poses. Which I find to be true. Also, all of that sweating is good for you -- helps detox the body. It's an incredibly intense workout, though -- I've been going for three weeks and I have yet to get through an entire class without feeling like I'm going to puke or pass out. But I just take a break when I need to and I get through. Plus, it totally kills your appetite -- can't eat much before and can't eat much after. So I've lost like 5 pounds in the last 3 weeks. Bonus! :)
