Friday, 3/24: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang! :hi:

Today I did an upper body workout (using some machines and some free weights) and then I spent 30 minutes on the StairMaster. The machine said I climbed 82 floors of stairs. That ought to shape up my legs..

How many floors is the Empire State Building? the Statue of Liberty? (I'm going to have to investigate)

I'm finding that with any interval program on the StairMaster or the elliptical, my heart rate ranges between 60% and 80% of maximum. Anybody have any thoughts on whether I should be aiming higher.

1. Dumbbell bench presses and shoulder rehab
bumped the dumbells up to 50lb each.

I've walked up the Washington monument a few times(years ago when they allowed it) that is 550 ft.

to share anything with anyone else. I am on the way outside now for bench press, preacher curl, and four others. Goal is 60 sets total, 10 of each. Weights not heavy.

Seemunkee, if it's a rotator cuff problem, have you seen these four exercises to strengthen it?

3. I did my one-mile walk with Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds.
I also took the plastic off an Irish dance instructional DVD and crashed around a bit.

It said it was suitable for beginners, but I guess that assumes that the beginner is blessed with coordination and balance.
