AHA! Wed 7/12: I worked out today at last - how about you
While Ms usnret88 was in physical therapy, I scurried next door and did several sets of dumbbells on flat and incline benches. Discovered I was able to do the same weights as before, but the number of sets I could get is much less.

Then, I scurried back over to PT to learn from the therapist how much I can do with she-who-must-be-obeyed and how much she can tolerate. We have 3 sessions this week, but she wants to cut back to only one per week with them, and the remainder with me at home and in the gym, using a program that will be designed for her.

We've been married for 39 years, and you just cannot imagine how happy I am today not only just to still have her, but have her alive and well enough that we can still do things together. I think motorcycling is now on the avoid list for her though.

1. Ms usnret88 just rode 1/2 mile
on her recumbent tricycle http://www.sunbicycles.com/sun/recumbents/ez3/ez3.htm . This time last month she was in an ICU in and out of consciousness. I'm so enormously proud of her, and she knows it.

I did work out today (finally). I did 30 minutes on the elliptical.

4. day off today
that long jog really did a number on my feet and hips. I'm taking time time to recouperate.

You're lucky to have someone you love so much in your life. Congrats!

7. Thanks for your support. We went to the gym again about 6 pm.
and Ms worked on some of the various leg machines, and then a few minutes on a stationary recumbent bike. She is determined to come out of this as close to 100% as possible.
