7/19: Afternoon workout today--How about you?

7/19: Afternoon workout today--How about you?
I'll do upper body and abs today, and then 20 minutes of some cardio (I haven't decided what yet).

I'm mixing up my routine a bit to get more running in. On days that I do weights, my cardio will be really light. My weight routine will be double what it usually is (meaning I'll do either a leg routine or an arm routine PLUS I'll do abs).

On non-weight days, I'll be doing extra-long cardio (at least an hour, if not longer) and it will most likely always be jogging. I'm trying to increase my usual run to 10K because I want to do the Tufts 10K race in October.

1. I did aerobics step DVD, lower body weights & yoga this morning.
I was sweating buckets. Too hot for a lunch walk today. Maybe I try to get in a long yoga session after work.

2. walked for about 1/2 hour
did some crunches on the ball. will do some pushups later this evening.

I need to start getting into the routine of cardio/walking in the mornings so I can get it out of the way with no more excuses.

3. Yes, I did.
18 mile bicycle ride shortly after noon, then to the gym for exercise machines, plus free weights in the back yard - all upper body. Ms on the leg machines and stationary recumbent in the gym.

6. LEG DAY
I thought I was going to do elliptical today but I went for the squat rack and hit legs

Squats 5x5
Hack squats 3x8
Romanian deadlifts 4x8
Leg curls 3x8
Leg press calf raises 4x15
Leg extensions 3x8
