3. I have been working out
but sorry to miss the check-ins lately. My cat Meursault was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia, where basically all of his internal organs except the liver and colon moved into his chest. :( He had surgery on Friday and returned home last night. He seems to be doing well, but we shall see....

4. Up and at 'em at 5:30am
Swam a Mile-and-a-quarter. A little sloppy form because I'm tired but endurance is good. My resting heartrate this morning was 44 bpm.

6. Yes, I did. Machines and free wgts in gym this morning while
Ms usnret88 at physical therapy next door. Therapist amazed at wife's progress, but I'm not surprised. She uses the leg machines at the gym at least 3 days a week, we do spontaneous balance exercises at home, plus lower body flexibility work. The arm cast comes off tomorrow, and if her ribs are healed sufficiently we'll start on upper body work to unsure range of motion stays where it should. No upper body weights until cleared by physician - stretching, moving, etc. only.

7. I goofed!
I had a hard time getting out of bed so I decided to go in the afternoon. I turns out I couldn't go in the afternoon because I had to bring the cat for a follo-up at the vet.
