Monday, 4/4: I worked out today--did you?
I'm feeling VERY good after my workout today.

1.6 miles on the track (.6 jog, .1 walk, .4 jog, .1 walk, .3 jog, .1 walk)

Then to the weight room to work on upper body.

This time I also did some pelvic tile stretches for my abs, as well as laying on my back with my legs in the air and then lowering each leg (each leg 10 reps). I'm hoping this will help to strengthen my abs w/o doing any further damage to my hernia. It felt pretty good, so I'm going to stick with it.

What have you done/will you do today?

1. Haven't decided yet
Afterwork I COULD go cycling now that the time has changed. WOOHOO!

I'll either ride 13 miles or run 2...depending on how much time it looks like i'll have afterwork.

I need to do some upperbody work too. All i have is some 10lb dumbells. I guess I should look up some good dumbell work outs.

2. Today's my off-day
I'll probably just clean house or something. My advice on off days is to make sure and do something active. Keep that blood pumping!

4. Nope - last day of wimping out because of visiting the cat...
It's been a week now and I feel like crap! It's amazing how quickly my body can say

"Aha! You don't need that, let's just get rid of it, shall we?"

It makes me wonder if it's worth it.

Anyway, for better or worse, I think Albert is getting released from the hospital today, which means I *should* get my lunch breaks back starting tomorrow. We shall see, though.

6. 9.3 miles on my bike again
I usually hate daylight savings time but now I have time after I get off from work at 6:30 to ride before dark. Yippee!
