Help!!: Joe Scarborough must be made to apologize!!!
That creep Joe Scarborough told out-right lies about Wesley Clark's Iraq position on his MSNBC blog (in an entry dated yesterday), taking a cheap shot at other Democrats as well. The jerk actually said Clark, Kennedy and Madeline Albright provided "comfort to the terrorists"!!

I swear to God, I'm so sick of this %$&# crap. I really think this kind of garbage necessitates a response. Maybe if MSNBC gets 100 or more letters, they'll make that despicable cretin 'fess up to his lies.

Please take a minute to look at the post I put in GDP. It gives more details about Scarborough's disgusting manipulation and distortion of the truth. Please consider doing a quick e-mail. If you're in a rush and don't have time, at least give it a kick so people with more time on their hands see it.

1. Do you think the shrill of cable talk shows if becoming louder? I do,
but, they "won"--sen. legislature, WH--what the heck is going on?
Did they thing we would just sit back and let them walk all over us?
Is this why the shrill is louder and more nasty?

4. I noticed that, too
I also think the Fox guys have been even worse than usual lately. I think they're getting nervous -- there was a lot of bad news for the GOP over the past few weeks (e.g., Bush's SS plan looking DOA, people freaking out because of Bush's scary Inaugural address, etc). When the FOX guys feel under attack, they get vicious: Just like the mangy attack dogs they are!

Hope you'll send a quick e-mail to MSNBC -- they are much, much more receptive to pressure than Fox (Fox takes complaint letters from Democrats as a good sign!!). I'm hoping MSNBC unloads Scar-butto some day: He's an embarrassment.

5. Well, it's a long shot worth taking
That butt-hole Bill O'Reilly was just forced into making an on-air apology to a radio commentator he had on his show. And that was on FOX, whose journalistic standards are ten times worse that MSNBC's.

7. Yes, true, but I'm thinking that may be more than we'll be able to
accomplish by sending a couple of hundred e-mails. For the time being, I'd just like to see him 'fess up to lying about Clark's position.

On the other hand, maybe those of us who live in New York can spend a day outside NBC headquarters this summer handing out flyers on the intern matter - that would be kind of fun.

13. Here's three e-mails you can cut-and-paste
To make this easier for you to do, below are three e-mail messages you can cut-and-paste into MSNBC's e-mail link (letters@msnbc.com and cc: it to viewerservices@msnbc.com ).

Pick one and make changes as you see fit -- or don't make any changes at all -- we're looking for sheer numbers of e-mails here, not Faulkner-esque prose. (When stations get 100 or more e-mails all on the same subject, they’re more likely to pay attention. Unlike FoxNews -- which thrives on insulting Democrats -- MSNBC/GE is more susceptible to pressure from angry Dems)

Here's three to choose from (taken from responses to my post on other DU forums):

"I strongly object to you highlighting Joe Scarborough's partisan political attacks against Democrats on the MSNBC home page. Why didn't you give equal time to Keith Olbermann -- he's the main reason I tune into MSNBC these days. You shouldn't print partisan garbage if you want people to watch MSNBC."

-OR-

"Joe Scarborough should apologize to Wesley Clark and other Democrats for what he wrote in his January 29th blog. It’s painfully obvious that Scarborough is making a partisan political attack. If you review the transcript of Wesley's Clark's January 24th appearance on Scarborough's show, you will see that General Clark repeatedly said he thought holding the elections in Iraq was a great thing and a positive step. MSNBC should be ashamed to print such outright lies and politically-motivated attacks. Joe Scarborough owes an apology to Wesley Clark. "

-OR-

"I believe an apology is in order from one of your most vacuous commentators -Joe Scarborough - in reference to his attack on Wesley Clark. Scarborough's venomous spin of late is disgraceful. I don't presume to understand how you can reconcile the actions taken by your commentators against true patriots of this country like Clark. These ploys only affirm the irrelevance of the 'media', and will no-doubt hasten the inevitable. The only reason I write is that someone has to. Signed, Turned off on MSNBC in Mass"

This should only take a minute ot two to do.

Thanks if you can help..........

15. Dear MSNBC
Thank YOU, Thank YOU, Thank You!

I'm am so very grateful to your station and
in particular, Joe Scarborough for helping me to realize that it was finally time to pull the plug on my cable company! No more hatred, or manipulative propaganda in my life. ANd more time to get
the REAL news from international news channels/newspaper web site, you know... places that employ
REAL journalists, who still have ethics and only report the facts!

I'm predicting that if it took ME this long to finally pull the plug, then many others are not that far behind.
Phew! Finally the downfall of the liberal media!
Good Luck in the future!

16. Done.
I sent off an email. MSNBC used to be the only cable news channel I could tolerate but after Chris Matthews gave so much time to the Swiftboat idiots, I can't stand that channel either.
