60 in 06
just a dumb thought... try to get the Democratic party to launch a campaign to bring the 60 million or so people who went to the polls and voted for Kerry in 04 back in 06 to vote in local, state, and congressional elections.

I don't know, just a thought I needed to get out. Anyone think this could get traction?

1. Would it read six o in o six (sp). The slogan is VERY good now just to

2. I read the subject line and...
Thought you meant "60 Senators in 06"

That would be very nice as well!

3. That's what I thought.
If we get the 60 million, maybe we can get the 60 senators. Then we can shove that fillibuster up their @sses.

5. Heh
Of course, we'd have to win every race to make it happen... But whatever. ;)

6. well, we can't win every race if we don't compete in every race
shit man... like 2004 in Idaho, Senator Crapo (I'm not kidding about his name) faced NO opposition, and got elected with 99.99% of the vote. It's depressing how some state parties might as well just disband because it doesn't seem like they're doing anything.

Hopefully, though, Dean will change all of that.
