Go and sign the petition to ask Gov. Spitzer to not resign.
Democrats.com have it on their front page.

We are sick of Republicans going after Democratic governors and Attorney Generals to stop investigations, etc. Bush is using the Justice Department to remove his political enemies with our tax dollars.

9. I got that email earlier and I cannot
sign the petition. Spitzer was dumb, arrogant, stupid. Wrong. He was fully aware of the position doing what he did would put him in. He wasn't naive, he prosecuted cases like this. I walked for him, I donated, I had my picture taken with him, stood in the freezing Albany cold January 1, 2007 to see his innauguration. He had it all, he lost it all. He did it to himself, he did it to his family, he did it to us.

on par with public intoxication. If this is grounds for resignation, 80% of our pols should resign.
