What's the Unionist's next move?

Rioting in Belfast and Co. Antrim. UVF-LVF fueds spiraling out of control. Hugh Orde blaming the OO for violence. Empey trying to out bigot Paisley. If the situation wasn't so dangerous I'd be laughing.

Anyone have an opinion?

If the police can keep the worst of it out of the Catholic areas and the guns stay out of the situation, this could be the last gasp of the hard men.
I see that the decommissioning of IRA weapons seems to have started--http://www.timesonline.co.uk/printFriendly/0,,1-1507-1774731-1187,00.html Let the loyalist paramilitaries be disarmed as well.

Republican enclave yesterday while about 6 PSNI officers stood by. How long before the Irish Ran Away graffiti starts appearing again? At what point will splinter groups attempt to protect catholic communities?

Hopefully, the Brits will stand firm and convince the Unionists that there is no option left to them but a political dialogue between all parties.

It looks to me like a replay of the loyalist stalling tactics that have served them so well over the years. I'm not a religous man, as a matter of fact, I'm irreligious but, God save Ireland. He/She appears to be the only hope.
