2. Supposedly
When he becomes Venom it's full on McFarlane style Venom with the sharp teeth and long tongue.

The one thing I worry about is that I don't want this movie to suffer from "Batman and Robin Syndrome" where there are too many villans and characters.

Peter Parker/Spider-Man

involved apparently in a love triangle with Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacey

fighting his old friend Harry Osborn who has become the Hobgoblin

and going up against Sandman who apparently had something to do with the guy who killed Uncle Ben

All while fighting off the symbiote costume....and then having to fight Venom.

That seems like alot for one movie.

3. true
and to be honest, I thought Raimi did great, in spiderman I and II, so I'm inclined to give him some faith...Spiderman III looks great, I was juiced about it the minute I heard Venom was going to be in it. Venom is the main reason why I started reading Spiderman comics...

4. Sandman might just be a cameo fight
Not lasting long and just in there for action and not to advance the plot.

5. hmmm
thats bad news for Sandman fans...I am tempted to visit the spidey boards at imdb.com, I was there for months for superman returns, but the bickering is way too constant.
