Has anyone here read Jeff Smith's "Shazam; Monster Society of Evil"?

Hi All,

An old friend of mine who is a comic book creator just mentioned to me that his last project, "Shazam; Monster Society of Evil" is being Freeped on Amazon. It's surprising that it has only two reviews so far, and that both of them are negative. The graphic novel debuted to RAVE reviews as you can see here: http://www.boneville.com/shazamreviews . Yes, the storyline is indeed a parable for what has been happening under the Bush regime, but there isn't any mention of real world political figures anywhere in the series. I honestly don't believe that Jeff has ever been heavy handed in promoting his personal political ideologies in this series or in "Bone", his original best seller.
