3. Oh, P, I'm so sorry.
 I know it's been so very rough for you, too.

My STBX will be arriveing 10/10 and we are going to finalize everything. I don't want to, I still love him even though it is stupid. I went on a date last night and it all came back to me how crappy dating was.

Take care, sis--love from Phoenix way coming to you.

4. Remember there are always two involved
You cannot screw up anything all by yourself. Being honest is fine, but I think it has to be coupled with a willingness for both parties to accept their parts of the problems, and also commit to working on them. Don't think about throwing in the towel too soon!

a few years in fact . We have a child . We will be friends forever .
I just can't be married to him anymore . I'm not property , I'm not a maid , I'm not a lot of things I was having to live everyday .

I'm not quite sure who I am yet but I need to find out .

10. That's what happened to me, more or less.
I couldn't hide the fact that I was unhappy stuck at home with a small child with no financial security or life of my own.

He would go out and do as he pleased while I was home taking care of our daughter.

3 years in January since we split up and our divorce was just finalized last month. And we still end up fighting at least once a month or so about custody or some other parenting related nightmare.

On top of that, he has a 6 month old baby with his new fiancee and their relationship seems approximately as stable as ours was, so I imagine he will be going through this again in a few years.

Hang in there.
