We need a new law...
Edited on Fri Nov-18-11 08:48 PM by bl968
With all the corporations that pay little to no taxes, how about a new federal law barring corporations from issuing profits to shareholders, or bonuses to executives if they have paid less than a specific percentage of their total profits in local, state, and federal taxes. Could solve the problem and fix the budget problems at the same time. If a corporation is legally unable to issue profits to shareholders, the shareholders can file suit against the corporate leadership.

1. How about just getting rid of corporate taxes and taxing capital gains at the same rate as payroll?
