Back in my yoot I created a fantasy world and had several extensive languages for it as well. Lots of fun, mainly an excercise in grammar and such. I was more into constructing the languages than the rest of the fantasy world. I used to be seriously into language, but alas, life happened.

Also, my friend and I periodically chat (via IM) in a language we call Molto, which is a weird hybrid of French, Spanish, Latin, English, and plain made up words. It's all made up on the fly, which is fun.

Is there anyone geekier than a language geek??? :D

3. Doubtful.
Language geeks actually like rules to apply and be consistent in their (usually excruiciatingly detailed) fantasy worlds. :D

on edit: I was criticised for complaining about the pronunciation of Sindarin while watching LotR on DVD.
