Ford Focus RS500 Revealed
Even though we’d probably rather have a Nuclear Jesus Lightning version of the Focus RS, the matte black RS500 is a trick piece. Plus, the additional 50 horsepower, which delivers more top-end and mid-range power thanks to intake and exhaust enhancements, is nothing to sneeze at. At least we know now why it was so difficult to see in the teaser video.

1. I like my Mazdaspeed 3 better.
I have enough trouble putting almost 300 horsepower to the ground through the front wheels as is. Plus, 5 doors. I do like the Focus RS and RS500, and wish they'd offer them stateside.

2. yeah, back in '98 i was shocked to see that weak-assed Focus
for the domestic market when compared to the Euro version...
