A note to DU and viewers of DeepModem Mom's Keyboard

I can no longer post to my "news blog," DeepModem Mom's Keyboard, or on DU itself, with a photo of an abused animal in my line of vision as I post. I am not unsympathetic with the cause this ad represents, but I personally find it very distressing to look at.

Ads at the DU site, and on my page, come from a provider of ads to liberal websites, and are beyond my control, and that of the DU website.

When the photo is replaced/removed, Mom will resume posting to DeepModem Mom's Keyboard.

I will check the site frequently to see if the ad has been removed; if you find it removed, be assured that I will be posting soon.

My apologies for this interruption.

I really cannot take that ad either. And I am a full time, professional rescuer!

Some ads are simply in poor taste.
