A murder saga that began on a drizzly January morning in an Atlanta townhouse off West Paces Ferry Road and spanned an ocean to a millionaire's capture in a palm-sheltered resort in Southeast Asia is, 19 years later, nearing another legal showdown.

Testimony will begin Feb. 20 in Fulton County Superior Court for one of Atlanta's most notorious slayings, the alleged contract murder of Buckhead socialite Lita McClinton Sullivan, 35, gunned down at her door Jan. 16, 1987, by a killer prosecutors say was hired by her estranged husband...
