You are absolutely right. It makes me downright nauseous to see how some partisans from both the Clinton and Obama camps have been flaming each other here at DU.

I don't even bother any more to say which candidate I'm supporting. I don't want to be forced to detox my mailbox or put a host of folks on ignore. But I want to be clear. I'm voting for a Democratic Party candidate in November. I am not voting for any Republican... ESPECIALLY McCain, who has made it clear in recent statements that he is clueless about both the war in Iraq, and mideast situations in general (he doesn't know the difference between Shia and Sunni Muslims for cryin' out loud). Add to that his admission that he's lost when it comes to the economy and it's a no brainer. McCain is (was) a genuine hero, but a clueless, temper prone and possibly senile man like him now has no place in the White House.

Fortunately, most of the negative responses I get in that forum haven't been too bad. I've seen some, not necessarily on my OP's, that make me want to hurl things at the wall.

And those posts are sometimes from Obama supporters as well as Clinton supporters.

I favored Edwards and/or Bill Richardson in the early days of the Democratic race. Leaning toward Obama now, although that could change. If Clinton gets the nod, I'll vote for her... just to keep McCain out.
