Okay, gang, my left elbow is REALLY hurting now.

I can barely bend or extend it. Been icing it and also applying heat to it. Wrapped in an ace bandage right now.

Oh my. :cry:

But for some reason, I'm still laughing at myself. :rofl:

1. Do you have any Ben Gay or Metholatum at home?

The menthol will help ease some of the pain. Also, try Advil (ibuprofin) to reduce the inflammation. Tylenol will NOT do this. And tomorrow, you might want to get an elbow brace at the drugstore or Target.

2. Hey Rev!

I do have ibuprofen, and just took some more.

And I'm thinking that a sling might be a good idea.

And in truth, I did have fun.

When I heal up, I'm going back out.

But, next time I'll have better knee/elbow pads, AND I'll wear some bike shorts, which DO have padding on the backside. (I just finished sitting on a cold gelpack.)

It's a good thing that you're not letting your pain discourage you from heading out on the wheels again! Yes, pad up next time and it will be much easier.

I've skated all my life, and I love it. I just didn't expect the outdoor skates to be so difficult to adapt to. :)
