No matter how they try to spin it, Barack's a rockin' success. :hi:, all!

If people had known there would have been a riot ... one more repug operation to
keep the people from knowing what happened.

66. Know what the funny thing is?
Where did Bot take me in Columbus that we just so happened to meet Jennifer Brunner? A restaurant in...wait for it...GERMAN VILLAGE.

But not the one Grampy went to. Wow, some of the women there really know how to fill out one of those frilly blouse things, don't they? I expected that one to be carrying a stein of beer in each hand.

Next stop for Grampy: the Germany section of Busch Gardens. "It's almost like being in the real thing," says McSame, "and I don't want to bother going to the real thing until I'm President. THEN I'll already be able to lay down the law for these Krauts as to what America's going to do in the world! Till then, why waste my time?"

If Grammpy had shown up in German Village and people had known he was
coming it would have been a riot .... and the repugs know that ... gotta keep
things quite.

65. Berry checking in.
:hi: Hi folks. Will have to catch Keith's full Wed. show on the flip-flop (maybe I better not use that term) but did see Thursday's. I truly believe Keith's trying to send a message to the Rev that he loves her and her alone. What's more, he has for years.

The proof? His obsession with CHEESE.

Every time he mentioned Gramps being in the cheese aisle, he emphasized the word "cheese": "the CHEEEEESE aisle." Every year without fail, Oddball features the Gloucester Cheese Roll. And remember when the Runaway Bride ran away, and Keith found out she was registered online? Which of her desired items captivated his attention utterly? All those having to do with the storage and serving of CHEESE. In fact, he went so far as to imply that Jennifer Wilbanks was obsessed with cheese...but I think we know better, don't we, kids?

It's obvious. When it comes to marriage, and especially grocery shopping, Katy bar the door, because Keith can't get his mind off CHEESE.

I, of course, am heartbroken.

Thanks for pointing out that Reagan said he was a citizen of the world. What a bunch of hypocrites the RW tools are.

Poor John McCain. This whole trip falls under the "be careful what you wish for" category.

And, Richard, I know it's the early morning, but you could have shaved for your interview.

43. But the only good thing about working at home
is that you can do it at two in the morning if you feel like it.

It wasn't a whole lot of work per se, just time consuming with phone calls and e-mails. I really just wanted to hang out and do nothing. I watched Obama's speech and some of the post-game show (where they all tried their best to find the downside), but missed most of the People's Court (a very guilty pleasure), dammit!

68. Pedestrians beware when Robert Novak is on the road.
You could be rolling around squashed to one of his tires for a week and he wouldn't notice until he took it into the shop to see if the air was running low and that was why he was feeling a funny bumpity-bump from that corner of the car.

Duncan "Great White" Hunter--too funny. "Screw Chad," he says, "if they don't have wildebeest to hunt and wouldn't let me hunt them if they did, I don't give a crap if they have starving people! I will move on to some country where my marksmanship skills are properly appreciated by the poor and indigent!"

Overall, Keith was such a breath of fresh air last night. I had seen a bit of Hardball earlier and it was just disgusting. Tweety was all over how Obama is dropping in the polls in key states while Gramps is rising, and how this proves that his overseas trip is NOT helping him and how this race has become "very close." Even worse, most of his guests agree--one even said "Actually I think Obama's numbers are a little LOWER than shown here and McCain's are a little HIGHER." It's a wonder I didn't throw a brick through the TV.

I thought "Keith will bring me back to sanity, by reassuring me that the difference I see between these two candidates is not just a figment of my imagination and that this crap is spin at its finest." He did.

Watching him helps me regain my sanity, rather than lose it over the results of one July poll.

Oh, and I'm sorry, but I think the longer he campaigns, the older and tireder and more fragile Grampy looks. Honest to God, watching him yesterday, I thought "He looks more like 82 than 72. You're not supposed to age like that until AFTER you've been President for a while."

Thank you, Keith. :loveya: Can't wait to see you on "The Soup."
