He went someplace for an appearance and had to cancel at the last minute.

Can't find the thread from GD now, but there was also something in there about is diabetes.

He's certainly not my fave person, but I do hope he gets well soon.

so between that and his Type 2 diabetes, he's not doing so hot.

And the timing is really bad for MSNBC.

I wish him well, as much as he drives me crazy. But I wonder if MSNBC is getting antsy about maybe him not being able to do the conventions.

Sorry you're not feeling well.

Hubby has been miserable for the last month or two -- bad sciatica. He started therapy but it got worse. Had an MRI a couple of days ago and goes to the physiatrist tomorrow with the films and for a cortisone shot. I sure hope he doesn't need surgery.

47. Yes, sciatica is the worst, I had it when I was pregnant with my son.
It used to take me 2 hours to walk 10 blocks in the city those last couple of months. They think this is just a muscle sprain but just making sure with the xrays.

now this. Feck, I guess I'm actually old. I feel like a big kid most of the time, so its a shocker to realize I'm delusional about that. Its been a trip watching the gymnastics competitions on the Olympics with my back hurting like this. Every time they do anything I wince.

My sciatica has been acting up lately.

At least I haven't had another episode like I did about 15 years ago. My back got so bad I literally could not stand up. I had to crawl around my apartment, and getting onto the toilet was pure hell. Did go to the doctor, with the help of MrSG, as I was living in a 3rd floor walk-up, and there would have been no way to get down the stairs on my own.

Hope your back settles down soon. :hug:

Just talked to Kel, and they had to postpone the surgery because her platelet count was too low. She's still in the hospital, and MAJORLY bummed about having to be there. She wants to go home, even more than Dorothy ever did.
