Thanks for asking. No, nothing new, but one of my church people sent me an e-mail and said that since it's been warming up, she's taking her dog out to walk, and will keep on looking. I also found out the posters I put up at the library and the grocery store are still there. :)

Bunning is still acting like an ass. Brought an amendment that Boxer says is against the rules of some kind. Now he's asked for a vote to waive something or other and they're doing a roll call.

Oh, and I fully believe what she says about the job search, too. I have had roughly the level of success she has had in finding anything, in seven months. Damn, I'm doing better on average than she is, and we're both still batting .000. And now she has to go get her cancer treated. Good luck paying the bills...and still keeping up the job hunt when you have to fight for your LIFE.

I hope for her sake she doesn't need chemo. It will be a lot easier for her to keep looking if she doesn't have to worry about weakness, nausea, losing her hair and chemo brain.

Of course, she doesn't dare let any potential employer know what she's being treated for. They'll never hire her for fear she'll cost them too much in health care benefits.
