I was thinking about Keith's dad and my mom when the bill passed. They both had insurance and the financial means to cover their medical treatment, but from what Keith said, and from the conversations I had with my mom, I know they would be pleased that those who don't have insurance now have a chance to get it.

I thought the same thing with a lot of my friends and family, esp. my brother because it's hard for anyone you love to go through so much pain, with or without coverage, so at least I'm glad those who don't have insurance can finally be covered and get the care they need.

Besides, the repukes have been trippin' all day long so apparently this is only the beginning of the temper tantrums. I say, let them lose what's left of their minds!!!

I've been reading the threads but I've been so busy it'll take me way too long to describe it. I'm in my own "March Madness", so seeing what's been going on here has been interesting.

Things over here have been quite manic as well this past month. But it's always nice to see you whenever you get the chance to pop in! Try to take it easy. :hi:

My condo has been getting a makeover so I had to deal with sawing, hammering, painting, tiles being put down, and sleeping on my futon for the last month or so until this past weekend when I finally got a new bed). On top of that, going to work and dealing with 2 online classes so my plate's been full. Otherwise, I'm doing pretty good.

He's singing a different tune than he's been singing the last couple of weeks.

He's been a real pessimist about this. Someone out there said they thought it was a manifestation of his jealousy that it was done, but not by the Clintons.

but I didn't agree with it.

Why am I not surprised?

I'm not either. Besides, my bracket was already gone when Maryland lost yesterday so all I can do is see who'll make it to the Elite 8 and then I'll root for whoever's left (hopefully Cornell)! A friend of mine was so pissed when Georgetown lost he threw his bracket out the window, so he may watch whoever's left too.
