As for Rand Paul, he's one hell of a piece of work, no? I couldn't believe how he would never give Rachel a straight answer. Every time she asked whether he thought lunch counters should have a right not to serve blacks or gays, he tried to "gotcha" her by talking about whether they should be able to ban guns in concealed-carry states! It was so painfully obvious he wanted to talk about that so he could avoid simply saying: Yes! I DO believe private enterprises should have a right to discriminate!

Now how long can the GOP afford to keep him around as its new tea-party celebrity?
