O/T: I'm A Furmommy!!!

Hi, fellow KOEB'ers!

Just wanted to let you know I'm now the proud mom of an adorable kitten named Raven! My neighbor's cat had a litter of 3, and Raven turned out to be the runt, but he's cute as a button! I've had him since Sunday, and so far he's adjusting to his new family. It was a little hard at first (he loves to hide and he's a biter and he plays a lot), but he's getting better at it. I took him to the vet yesterday for a checkup, and he's in great health for being just 8 weeks old. He didn't even fuss when he got his shots (which really surprised me), but he's one pound so far, and that concerns me a little bit. He will eat but not too much. I only hope you can see the photos I'm posting, but here is Raven making his Internet debut!!






I know you're gonna love him just as much as I do, so enjoy the pics 'cause they'll be more to come!!

try feeding him wet food...if he doesn't eat that, try baby food. stinks to high heaven, but apparently cats won't eat something they can't smell.

I bought some wet food earlier today so I'll see how he does. Besides, he loves Temptations treats (the tuna is his favorite so far), and I had to use that to coax him out of a bunch of boxes in my dining room where he was hiding the other night.

I know already about the price of cat food. Before I left Pet Smart on Monday, I saw the prices on some of the brands and I was stunned. Who on earth would pay 1.50 for a small can from a company I never even heard of? Highway robbery was the first thing that came to mind, so I'll stick to a brand I can trust.

Yes, he's a cutie and already I got lovely compliments when I was on my way to the vet. 2 nurses from a nearby clinic saw me with him in the carrier and they went gaga almost immediately! I have a feeling he's gonna get more cute as he gets older so I'm gonna enjoy every second of it!

He looks adorable, and you're actually better off getting the runt rather than "the brunt." Yes, I love Bella, like I loved my previous "brunt," but they are very, VERY bossy. Runts are just sweet. :-)

He's sweet and very active! He's eating a bit more and that's a great sign! I have to invest in more scratching posts, tho'.
